The Mahara Program is an educational track offered by the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) for high school graduates. It aims to bridge the gap between high school, diploma programs, and the job market by focusing on vocational training and developing the essential skills needed to enter and succeed in the workforce.
High school graduates registered with the UAE Ministry of Education who are not yet eligible for the Vocational Diploma programs or Applied Bachelor programs. Eligible students will receive a direct invitation via SMS or email.
The Mahara Program has two phases: a three-month English language improvement phase, followed by an academic year focusing on vocational training in fields like Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Sales & Marketing.
The Mahara Program is offered at all HCT branches across the UAE, providing easy access to students nationwide.
Graduates can either enter the workforce with support from HCT or continue their education in vocational diploma programs.
At this time, transportation services are not included.
Currently, the Mahara Program offers specializations in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Sales & Marketing. Additional specializations will be available soon—stay tuned for updates.
The Mahara Program is available at all HCT campuses across the UAE.
Yes, you may proceed with a Diploma program upon completion of the Mahara Program.
Classes are held Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, and on Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. However, this schedule may vary depending on the specific major.
